Class descriptions
Mat Based Pilates
It is best described as a mixture of body conditioning to strengthen the core muscles (postural muscles which stabilise the torso). By correcting muscle imbalance, faulty muscle recruitment patterns and bad habits, the body is brought back into alignment. Pilates avoids the muscle and ligament damage associated with many fitness regimes and plays a key role in rehabilitation program for many sports injuries as well as helping to improve back and neck problems.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha is a generic term that refers to any type of yoga that teaches physical postures. It generally means that you will get a gentle introduction to the most basic yoga postures. You probably won’t work up a sweat in a hatha yoga class, but you should end up leaving class feeling longer, looser, and more relaxed.

Vinyasa (Hatha Flow)
Vinyasa class based on a sequence of Hatha poses. Vinyasa classes and is known for their fluid, movement-intensive practices. Vinyasa classes based on a smooth transition from pose to pose, and often play music to keep things lively. If you hate routine and love to test your physical limits, vinyasa may be just your ticket.

Yin Yoga
Relaxation and breath work prepare you for meditation, the practice of silencing the mind to instil a sense of calm and contentment. This class is offering a gentle yoga poses and breathing techniques to bring body and mind to stillness.

Back care Pilates
Our Back Care Yoga/Pilates class is designed to strengthen your back to relieve pain and stress and promote optimal back health and spinal alignment. Through a series of stretches and postures you can begin to develop a stronger, healthier back. your spine for greater agility and flexibility. As you progress through the workout, you'll move from sitting to standing to floor exercises. Together, these exercises will help lengthen and loosen
Personal Tuition
The purpose of the one to one session is enhancing individual goal in getting physically healthier. It will be based on analysis of posture, movement and personal needs. Personal tuition is recommended for anyone with an injury, medical condition or suffering with back pain prior to joining a group class. Cost: £40 or a block of 5 sessions £180 paid in advance.

24 Hour notice is appreciated for any cancellation otherwise will be charged. Session can be swapped if a place available.
